Here at Dent Finish we have launched our paintless dent removal training course. The course is aimed at beginners that have no previous experience working with vehicle bodywork. Your one or two week long course (mon-fri), held here at our Ellesmere Port workshop will teach you all you require to start out on your PDR journey.

The paintless dent removal training course is in a very relaxed environment at my Ellesmere Port workshop. Where you can work with tools from various manufacturers and see which you like before making any purchases. Throughout the course we will touch on all aspects of PDR, from assessing damage, finding

suitable access, removing trims/lights and sometimes even panels.

At the end of your Paintless dent removal training course you will be issued with a certificate of completion, to remember where your PDR journey started!

   

What's in the course schedule?

  • Tools used for PDR
  • Preparing a vehicle and setting up for repair
  • Tool tip location on the dented area
  • Identifying access issues and ways around them
  • Identifying crowns and high spots and removing them during the repair
  • The removal of small dents, creases and body line dents on various panels
  • Understanding how steel, high strength steel (hss) and aluminium react differently
  • Where to purchase tools and equipment
  • Where to find pdr related content to assist you
  • A structured plan on what to do after your course ends, to keep you on the right path to perfect your new skills and future business

*Please be advised you will not be a competent PDR technician after your initial training. We can only teach you the fundamentals in this time, and you will require a further 6 months + of practice in your own time, perfecting the skills you have been shown. But don't panic we're only a phone call away, to offer support and advice throughout!

I was a little nervous getting my car repaired due to the value of the vehicle, it would normally only go into an Audi garage. Results were perfect an so glad i went ahead. Timely arrival, pleasant manner, great job an great price all done on my drive. Highly recommended.

I have a fleet of vehicles of which Dentfinish has removed three dents on two different vehicles. He has done a brilliant job, very high standard of work and as a fellow professional would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get major or minor dents repaired.

My car had been damaged by another car door at supermarket. 2 garages said needed respray at much cost. I looked up Dentfinish and called Ian to see if he could do anything without a respray. 24hrs later my car looked liked new. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. If in doubt, give Ian a ring, if the paint isn't broken, he can work wonders. Thanks.
